Innovative high-tech
This model features a black dial and a two-tone Cerachrom ceramic bezel in green and black. In addition to the traditional hour, minute and seconds hands, the GMT II is equipped with a separate 24-hour hand and a bidirectional rotating bezel with a 24-hour scale.

The 24-hour hand is uniquely shaded to indicate the reference time in the first time zone (e.g. the time of residence) and can be read by means of the scale on the outer ring opposite it. The watch's cleverly designed, independently adjustable hands allow the wearer to easily adjust the time via the winding crown without affecting the minute and second hands. The Cerachrom bezel features an innovative color scheme: black and green, the latter a distinctive shade reserved for this model.

Easy to read in all conditions
Like all Rolex Professional watches, the GMT II's unique Chromalight luminous display ensures clear reading in all environmental conditions, even in the dark. The large hands and simple triangular, round or rectangular hour markers are coated with luminescent material to give them a lasting glow.

The crown and crown escutcheon have been redesigned and moved to the left side of the case, giving it a new look and feel. The calendar window and the small convex window have also been repositioned at 9 o'clock.
